1.   DO YOU OFFER LONG-TERM RATES? 

Yes, long-term rates are defined as a minimum of 30+ consecutive rental days. 

2.   WHERE DO I PICK-UP MY CAR?

We deliver to you via Airport curbside or via your accomodations.

3.   INSURANCE.  AM I REQUIRED TO PROVIDE IT?

Yes. You agree to provide Auto Liability, Comprehensive and Collision Insurance. If you have no Auto Liability Insurance, we Elite Kauai Car Rental, Inc. provide it through (the "Policy"), that is secondary to any other valid and collectible insurance whether primary, secondary, excess or contingent, at a fee of $25.00 per day x 4.712% tax. The Policy provides bodily injury and property damage coverage with limits no higher than minimum levels prescribed by the vehicular financial responsibility laws of the state whose laws apply to the loss (Hawaii).  You and we reject PIP, medical payments, no-fault and uninsured and under-insured motorist coverage, where permitted by law.  The Policy is void if you violate the terms of the Agreement, or if you fail to cooperate in any loss investigation conducted by us or our insurer. through your personal insurance company.  Please check your insurance policy and/or credit card agreement for rental vehicle coverage. 

As with all rental companies, you (the "Renter"), will be liable for all expenses including "Loss of Use," on the vehicle, damages or loss you cause to other property and others. Please read all conditions on Terms & Conditions page.

4.   WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

A minimum 24-hour cancellation is required prior to your pick-up for a full refund. $100.00 cancellation fee will be assessed less 24-hours or no-show.

5.   WHAT IS THE AGE LIMIT TO RENT?

Minimum age is 21. Drivers under the age of 25 will incur additional fees and/or restrictions. Vehicle class restrictions do apply. A "Young Driver's Fee of $25/day will be charged plus tax 4.712%.

6.   DO I HAVE TO SIGN A CONTRACT?

Yes. You will be provided a rental contract via email that includes rental details, cost, terms and conditions. A valid driver's license per person must be provided at time of vehicle exchange.

7.   WHICH PAYMENTS ARE ACCEPTED?

Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover, Debit Card

8.   HOW ARE E.K.CAR RENTAL RATES DETERMINED?

Rates fluctuate based on demand, season, vehicle choice and marketplace forces.  There is no exact method to determine a rate and are not based on 24-hour increments. 

9. IS THE GAS FREE WHEN RETURNING A VEHICLE?

No. E.K.CAR offers you the option to PREPAY your fuel at the time of making your reservation (based on the number of gallons your vehicle can hold), or you must refuel within 5-miles of the Airport.
